This thrilling spot is managed by the Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam Limited (GMVNL). They conduct skiing courses of 1-2 weeks. The Uttaranchal Tourism Department organizes winter sports and encourages tourism. It is ideal locale for skiing. It boasts a 500m long ski lift and an 800m chair lift for linking the upper and lower slopes. The GMVNL as also imported snow beaters for maintaining slopes. Going along the murky slopes give a spectacular vista of ranges like Nanda Devi, Kamat and Mana Parvat. The blissful snow can be best enjoyed here in the months of December and January.

    • Valley of Flowers will be opened by 1st June, 2015. You can visit Valley of Flowers from this time onwards. So in the end of May it is not possible to visit Valley of Flowers. You need to reschedule your program.

      There will not be snow at Auli in July or August month. If you want to see snow kindly visit Auli in Jan to March.

    I am currently in Bangalore but very much interested in visiting Auli via Delhi.( I will stay for few days in Delhi and then will move for hilly Areas). My friends suggested me about Auli. Snow is not important, all I want to have an experience of hills, nature and scenic beauty.
